What facilitators do

Facilitators bring the live webinars to the young people they lead. You choose the sessions that fit the young people you serve and run them in your own room, and the questions those young people submit through you compete to be asked live.

Sessions are adult-led: the adult signs in, starts the session and walks through it with the young people in the room. Young people never create accounts or log in.

What the application asks for

Registration and identity

Legal entity name, federal EIN, state of registration and entity or charter number, a link to the state business search, an official website and a mailing address.

K-12 credentials

Your NCES ID and state department of education code. A district lists every school it applies for and signs for all of them. A private school gives its accreditor or state approval.

Youth organizations: tax-exempt status

A 501(c)(3) determination letter, or church or integrated auxiliary details, a group exemption number, or your fiscal sponsor. A registered youth nonprofit cannot apply as not tax-exempt.

An official domain email

The signing official must use an address on your organization's own domain, verified by an emailed code. Personal email addresses are not accepted, and there is no manual exception.

Insurance

General liability, sexual abuse & molestation, umbrella/excess and D&O coverage at the minimums for your insurance tier, with a current certificate of insurance. Every facilitator uploads a certificate: there is no self-insurance route.

Screening attestation

Your organization confirms it has background-checked and approved, under its own written policies, every person who works with youth through The Pros Pros™, and accepts sole responsibility for that screening. The Pros Pros does not screen individuals.

One year at a time

Your status lasts one year. Renewal is opt-in: there is no automatic renewal and no stored-card charge. To renew you re-confirm the confirmations, update your information, upload a new COI and pay the annual fee.

Annual fee: $49 per year, non-refundable

The fee is paid before review, and again in any year you renew. It covers only checking, verifying, approving and processing the application.

It buys no favors, placement, ranking or endorsement, and it does not guarantee approval.
